Join the change: become a Partner of the Blue Marina Awards
Take a leading role in the Blue Economy!
Qualified visibility, dialogue with marina decision-makers, and collaboration on strategic issues: let’s build the future of marinas together.
The Blue Marina Awards (BMA) are the leading initiative dedicated to the enhancement, innovation, and sustainability of Italian marinas and landing facilities. The program supports marina facilities through a concrete pathway of growth, improvement, and competitive positioning, in line with national and European strategies on ESG, technological innovation, hospitality, inclusivity, and safety.
Each year, the BMA recognize excellence marinas that stand out for sustainability, innovation, service quality, inclusivity, and safety.
Described by the Italian Minister of Tourism as “an accelerator of quality, sustainability, and competitiveness for the entire marina sector,” the BMA assess multiple operational and management indicators, providing a real and measurable picture of marina development.
Why the Blue Marina Awards?
Marinas are now economic, social, and territorial hubs. The ecological transition, the evolution of tourism demand, and the need for more advanced services require tools, expertise, and strong networks.
The Blue Marina Awards respond to these needs by:
helping marinas understand and address Blue Economy trends;
promoting pathways for improvement in sustainability, innovation, and service quality;
facilitating dialogue between marina facilities, institutions, companies, and stakeholders;
creating opportunities for qualified exchange between the demand for and supply of expertise, technologies, and solutions.
Why become a partner of the Blue Marina Awards
Why become a partner of the Blue Marina Awards
Becoming a BMA partner means joining a unique platform within the national landscape, one that generates authority, relationships, territorial presence, and qualified dialogue with the marina system.
Supporting the BMA means making a concrete contribution to the transformation of the sector by taking part in an initiative that promotes more modern, innovative, and sustainable marinas, in line with the priorities of the Blue Economy.
What partners gain
A partner company becomes part of an ecosystem that fosters institutional visibility, networking, and collaboration on strategic issues, with the opportunity to:
strengthen its positioning in sustainability, innovation, and quality;
build qualified relationships with sector decision-makers;
provide technical contributions and thematic content to a targeted and knowledgeable audience;
take part in events, working groups, and high-authority discussion forums;
access aggregated data and insights useful for understanding sector trends, priorities, and dynamics.
KPIs and Programme Impact
The Blue Marina Awards develop a continuous annual programme, with concrete and measurable results for both the sector and the partners that support it.
Key indicators of the BMA format:
1 event per month from April to November;
1 final award ceremony in November;
qualified participation of institutions, marina managers, companies, and national stakeholders;
an average of around 30 media placements per event (national, regional, and trade publications, as well as TV coverage);
strong amplification on social media thanks to the network of partners, host marinas, and participants;
particularly high media coverage during the final ceremony.
The BMA can also rely on collaboration with leading national and trade media outlets. Nautica is the official media partner of the Blue Marina Awards, and the connection with Forbes helps strengthen the visibility and authority of the initiative.
BMA events also provide a qualified setting in which partner companies can contribute to the debate through their key themes, bringing expertise, case studies, and vision on innovation, sustainability, and the development of the marina sector.
The Blue Marina Awards therefore represent a privileged gateway to the Blue Economy, bringing together companies, marinas, institutions, and emerging trends within a credible and high-value relational context.
Final Award Ceremony
Each year, the Blue Marina Awards organize a final award ceremony, a high-profile institutional moment and a key event for the marina sector.
During the ceremony:
the recognition marks are awarded to the marinas and landing facilities that have exceeded the assessment threshold;
the Special Awards promoted with the contribution of partner companies are presented, with a clear and qualified recognition role within the programme;
institutions, national stakeholders, and representatives from the economic, industrial, and tourism sectors take part.
It is the moment when the results achieved are celebrated and, together, the future directions of the new marina sector are identified.
